From our family to yours, we bring you the "Pura Vida" lifestyle of Costa Rica. We believe in the slow life, filled with family, friends, laughter. We believe in dedicating our lives to the betterment of our planet and the people that surround us. Above all—we believe in sitting down together over a cup of great coffee, roasted to perfection by our family in Colorado.
Inspired By Our Costa Rican Family.
We began our company in 2012 with the help of our family members in Costa Rica--the Gomez family, who grow coffee beans in the beautiful shaded mountains of Costa Rica. Through their kindness and guidance, they helped us learn the coffee basics, which inspired our desire to launch Simple Life Coffee (formerly Pura Vida Natural Bean).

Five years later we are still a family-owned and operated business, now offering our amazing coffee across the United States. We have a goal to run our company with minimal
environmental impact (in keeping with the principles of the Pura Vida lifestyle of Costa Rica) and to roast the highest quality coffee beans for our friends, family, and customers in Colorado and beyond.
Zero Emissions.
Our business practices surround the central element of Pura Vida, to care for our environment. We deliver all local coffee orders with zero emissions—in an electric vehicle powered by 100% solar energy. In addition, we dedicate 10% of our staff time to influencing electric vehicle adoption in Colorado through Drive Electric Northern Colorado and other statewide organizations.
